I am so excited to finally reveal the beta release of Flypager! It’s function? Church nurseries need a reliable way to communicate with parents if their child is upset and needs attention. Flypager is a web application built for church nursery volunteers giving them a panel to page parents or guardians through text messaging and/or digital signage. Go to www.flypager.com to learn more!

“Death Was Arrested” Music Video
We shot, edited, and featured this video the week leading up to Easter 2017. Death Was Arrested is a beautifully written song by Adam Kersh music and wonderfully performed by our Living Word Community Church worship team.
Our camera crew operated 1 slider cam, 2 mobile cams, and 1 static cam.
Audio was captured RAW then mastered in Ableton Live. Spliced everything together in Adobe Premiere.
Camera Jib Illusion Trick
In the video below, I am only using a camera slider with a pan tilt head. Now, you’ll notice the first shot is a simple slide and pan shot. However in the second, you’ll notice a jib like shot. How is this possible with only a slider? Post production.
During the shoot, have your main camera operator do a continuous slide and pan motion on the subject. Then in post, use scale and position keyframes to add the jib effect. That simple.
Becker Wedding – The Ceremony
Just completed editing part 1 of the Becker Wedding video. Congratulations again to Carrie and Joel Becker!

Behind the camera: Scott Fahs Feature
I just finished editing a production last week featuring the story of Scott and Cindy Fahs and I have to tell you; out of most of the productions I’ve put together, this was a true honor for me to work on. This man’s story of pain, healing, and grace just inspires me in such an incredible way.
As I sat behind the camera in the pre-production interview listening to the couple share their story, I just kept thinking to myself, “how is this man alive!?”
Scott and Cindy behind the camera are very happy and outgoing people who love to create conversation with everyone. However as you watch this video, you’ll see the side of Scott and Cindy that relives the nightmare they went through from 2002 through 2014.
This is a beautiful story of Scott Fahs who was at death’s door and finds life through his trust in God, strength and love from family, and generosity of friends.
Special thanks to my production team: Adam Dacheux, Chris Smith, Connie Michling, Steve Almquist, Ned Keene || And an extra special thanks to the Fahs Family for their willingness for us to come to their home and film their incredible story.
Environmental Projection Design #2 (Modern Light Bulbs)
A great way to create a transformational visual experience inside a worship space is using environmental projection. This is what Living Word Community Church uses to visually transform the auditorium.
Here is my second video example of using the projection system to create a warm modern light bulb design for an acoustic service.
Environmental Projection Design #1
A great way to create a transformational visual experience inside a worship space is using environmental projection. This is what Living Word Community Church uses to visually transform the auditorium. Our projection designs span across three 60 foot wall sections and two stage screens using 5 projectors. The Ion lighting board located at front of house keeps everything visual in sync by sending midi commands to our front of house Pro-Video-Player computer (which contains the wall video graphics), which then sends a command to our back of house VTR computer (which contains the backgrounds and videos seen on the stage screens).
The video below is one example of different scenes you would see in a typical service:
Aviom Labeler 1.0.5 – Now Available
This update gives you the ability to select between “white on black” or “black on white” labels for which ever sleek look you prefer! This version also includes bug fixes.
Chord Transposer – NEW
This web application is for all you musicians who want a quick way to transpose your chord sheets. Simply type or paste your song, set the root key, and hit transpose! I built this using php server scripting, html, javascript, and the jquery-chord-transposer engine.
